Touchstone Builders, Inc. is a small volume Custom Home Builder, building 10 to 15 homes a year. The advantages of using a small builder are:
Small volume builders can usually act quickly. Large builders typically have a decision-making hierarchy that prevents a fast decision.
Small builders are more connected to the community where they build. Small builders are more attuned to the political environment and we build personal relationships with elected officials.
Small builders have lower overhead and therefore can be more flexible with requests so that expectations can be met.
Big builders are often too concerned with (internal rate of return). This makes it tough for them to be flexible.
Let the customer be the Boss! Buyer has the ability to speak directly with the builder/owner of the company.
